Do you know famous church members? Take this quiz to find out.

R2-D2 or C-3PO

.....
.....

If you said C-3PO you would be .... wrong. C-3PO is actually a Creatorist. R2-D2 was first introduced the the church after filming the Return of the Jedi. He had a hard time after the end of the series which you can learn more about in the riveting documentary R2-D2: Beneath the Dome. Because of his private nature the film does not include how after hitting rock bottom it was a pair of sister missionaries that introduced him to the gospel. While he has been active in the church since the mid 80's he has not been able to get baptized. As his long time friend C-3PO explained, "It would literally fry his circuits."

Joe Montana or Steve Young

....
....

Ok that should be an easy one. If you guessed Jason Bateman you were paying absolutely no attention at all. The answer is Steve Young. As most of you (in the US) probably already know Steve Young is a descendant of second church president Brigham Young. His father and brothers attended BYU and played football. It was Steve Young though who was the star player not only in college but after he joined the NFL. Initially he was in the shadow of Joe Montana but he would go onto be one of the best NFL quarterbacks.

Ash Ketchum or Brock

....
....

If you said Bulbasuar don't be ridiculous Pokemon can't join the church. If you said Ash though you would be right. Ash has been a member all his life. He spent the last 25 years traveling the Kanto region collecting Pokemon. He just turned 18 and received his mission call. Ash will be serving the people of the Johto region. His long time friend and traveling companion Pikachu had this to say about his leaving for a mission, "pika PIKA PIKACHU!."

Butch Cassidy or The Sundance Kid

....
....

If you picked you are right. He was born as Robert Leroy Parker in Beaver, Utah in 1866. He came from a Mormon pioneer family and was the first of 13 kids. He would later change his name to Butch Cassidy and started the gang the "Wild Bunch," with The Sundance Kid.
